My role
This is a personal project, so the design and build are mine. Add anyone who helped.
The problem
Why 200 mph is hard for a quadcopter and why a boost stage.
Design decisions
Airframe. The structure is 3D-printed PA6-CF with separate PETG-CF aerodynamic fairings. The hub wall tapers thicker toward each arm root.
Arms. The arms are straight fin panels with a symmetric NACA 0010 section. I chose straight over swept to keep the structure and the printing simple.
Avionics. A Pixhawk 6C flight controller, a 4-in-1 ESC, a PM02 power module, 5-inch props, and an analog FPV camera.
Results
Test results, photos, or flight footage.
